The government portal has provided guidelines for individuals with hearing and speech impairments on reaching emergency services during critical situations. Here is what to do:

• Text "Video Assistance" to 112.
• You will receive a link for a video call with an operator.
• Click on the link.
• Grant the emergency service access to your smartphone's microphone and camera.

You can communicate with the specialist during the video call using sign language. If you need to request a specific service, simply send a message to 112. The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine has also released a video tutorial.

The Charity Fund "Direct Inclusion" reminds you of the emergency numbers:

• Fire service – 101
• Police – 102
• Medical assistance – 103
• Gas emergency service – 104
• General emergency service – 112

Calls and messages to these numbers are free of charge.
