Don’t Buy—Adopt: Kyiv to Host the Largest Animal Adoption Event
05.06.2024
On June 22 and 23, large and small shelters from the Kyiv region will unite for a well-intended cause: animal adoption. At the International Exhibition Center in the capital, visitors can meet furry friends and adopt pets for free. According to the organizers, this event will be one of the largest of its kind.
In addition to meeting the animals, the event program includes various educational lectures and face painting for children. Visitors can also attend a training session to learn how to provide first aid to animals and assemble a home first aid kit for pets. Pets belonging to socially disadvantaged groups will have the opportunity to receive free sterilization and vaccination. Interested individuals need only fill out a form in advance.
The kindness and sincere intentions of those who take home these furry companions will not go unnoticed. New pet owners will receive gifts from sponsors, including pet food supplies, trial versions of litter, infection and parasite treatments, and discounts on pet products and veterinary services.
Organizers also invite animal volunteers and owners of small shelters to participate in the event. Registration is open until June 10.
The Charity Fund "Direct Inclusion" previously reported that a blood donation platform for animals had been launched in Ukraine. The material can be read via the provided link.
