Every day, more and more evidence of the brutality of the Russian military against Ukrainians appears on the Internet. Torture survivors submit written testimonies, and some even provide photos and videos documenting the abuse. Often, their families and neighbors share the stories of those who didn't survive the tortures. This builds a case for a future Nuremberg trial that will undoubtedly bring every criminal involved to justice.

To ensure accountability and justice, the Charity Fund "Direct Inclusion" has launched a series of articles titled "Unpunished Atrocities of Ruscism." We are convinced that in the 21st century, violators of the Geneva Conventions and international law must face immediate punishment. As they continue living freely the threat of new crimes remains.

More about Alexei Kypryn, Call Sign "Bars"

Alexey Kypryn joined the occupying forces back in 2014, starting his service in the so-called "LPR police." On the occupied territories of Ukraine's Donetsk region, Kypryn worked as a medical instructor in the Sabotage Assault Reconnaissance Group "Rusich," a group infamous for its brutal treatment of civilians and Ukrainian soldiers.

By 2017, Kypryn had returned to Russia, attempting to transition to civilian life by securing a job as a senior security guard. He later worked at a tractor plant in St. Petersburg and took several loans.

Whether it was a financial strain or a desire to continue his violent ways, Kiprin returned to Ukraine during the full-scale invasion in 2022. After receiving multiple commendations, he eventually rose to the rank of assault company commander.

This summer, a video shot by "Bars" itself got into the network. In the footage, he and several unidentified Russian soldiers are seen escorting captured Ukrainian fighters. They forced the prisoners to sing the Soviet Union anthem before physically assaulting them. The video shows one soldier being beaten and terrorized with shots fired near his head. When Kypryn notices the victim can no longer stand, he smirks and says on camera, "He's done," before ending the recording. This single video is enough evidence to hold Kypryn accountable for his actions, but it's just one example of his cruelty.

The Charity Fund "Direct Inclusion" is launching its investigation into Kypryn's crimes and any other offenses he may have committed. We are committed to ensuring that he is prosecuted according to international law. We will engage with all relevant institutions in Ukraine and abroad to achieve this.
