Unfortunately, the enemy army continues to terrorize the civilian infrastructure of Ukraine. The air defense forces are doing everything possible to eliminate each target, but unfortunately, the enemy is constantly modifying their weapons, making them more invisible and faster. As a result, buildings are being destroyed, sometimes high-rise buildings where hundreds of our fellow citizens reside. If a tragedy does occur, the emergency services urgently arrive at the scene. Their task is to dismantle the rubble as quickly as possible to reach everyone under it and needing emergency medical care.

The State Emergency Service of Ukraine is inviting people to join the rescue team. The volunteer position is more accurately called a "civil defense volunteer." Here's what they propose to do:

• Help in dismantling rubble
• Unload and distribute humanitarian aid
• Participate in rescue operations
• Assist individuals who have been affected by the war.

Becoming a volunteer rescuer requires completing a small questionnaire at the link and reading the instructions. After that, your application will be reviewed by emergency responders and local authorities. Civil defense volunteers are formed temporarily if needed, so you may have to wait for a response.
