The help of volunteers who organize such collections, purchase the necessary supplies and transport them continues to be important. Today, their work is greatly complicated by fraudsters who, after receiving the aid, resell it online.

It is not a shame to ask for help!

Until February 24 of last year, Ukrainians lived a wonderful life, in which they had everything they needed for their comfort. After the enemy army invaded our territory, several million citizens were forced to leave their homes, escaping from shelling and occupation. Some lost their homes, while others were left without jobs and means of survival. Many IDPs have children or elderly people in their care. In such a stressful situation, help is essential. But the problem is that people who are not used to asking for help before feel ashamed to do so.

Volunteers remind you that it is not your fault for being in this situation. Today, Ukraine is going through terrible times. Everyone without exception needs help: some - financial, some - moral, others - physical. Having demonstrated unity at the beginning of last year, we stood up against a multi-thousand army of aggressor. That is why it is important to continue helping those who have the opportunity and asking for necessary help for those who really need it.

If you find it difficult to get something for free, join the chain of mutual aid. Donating blood, weaving camouflage nets, making trench candles, and preparing meals for the military - you can do any of these things for free by joining a volunteer group or simply coming to the hospital.

Selling volunteer aid is punishable by law!

Unfortunately, the topic of the war has become a reason for speculation among fraudsters. Many of them pretend to be destitute pensioners, single mothers of three children or wounded soldiers, manipulatively begging volunteers for help. Later, charity workers find numerous ads for the sale of these items on the Internet: from food kits to plate carriers. At the same time, those who really need such help are forced to wait for their collection to close and risk their lives. It is quite difficult to establish whether the aid is actually being used for its intended purpose.

Therefore, the charitable foundation “Pryame Vklyuchennya” strongly asks to apply for help only in case of REAL NEED. We also remind you that in case of misuse of charitable donations, civil liability may arise in accordance with Part Three of Article 730 of the Civil Code of Ukraine, according to which the donor or his/her successors have the right to demand termination of the donation agreement if the donation is misused. The donations themselves are subject to return to the donor in kind.

In addition, the sale of humanitarian aid goods or the use of charitable donations, free assistance, or the conclusion of other legal acts regarding the disposal of such property, for the purpose of making a profit, committed on a significant scale during a state of emergency or wartime, is punishable by imprisonment for a term of five to seven years with deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities for a period of up to three years and with confiscation of property.

Is such a risk justified? Is it worth delaying help to those who really need it? The answer is obviously - no. Therefore, if you do not have a need, help others. We suggest doing it together.
