The Ministry of Social Policy in cooperation with the Ministry of Digital Transformation and UNDP created the “eDopomoga” platform, where every Ukrainian citizen affected by Russian aggression can receive material support. Previously, international organizations and the state were involved as volunteers in this portal, but today anyone can join the charity initiative. Moreover, Ukrainians can choose applications for aid and pay for them online or bring them to the actual address. The charitable foundation "Pryame Vklyuchennya" explains how to become a volunteer in a few clicks.

How does it work?

Unfortunately, a considerable number of Ukrainians are still unable to buy the most essential goods. This problem is especially acute in the de-occupied territories where hostilities are still ongoing. The advantage of the “eDopomoga” platform is that anyone can become a volunteer, regardless of the country they are located. To do this, you need to go to the project website using the active link and select the necessary section:

• Online help;
• Help from hand to hand.

In the first case, the volunteer chooses the type of donation and its amount (200, 500, or 1,000 hryvnias), and then satisfies any of the available requests on the list. The request card contains a brief description of the person's situation and a list of the goods he needs for existence. After the transaction is confirmed, each benefactor receives a message about its success, and the person to whom they sent the money receives a certificate that can be used to purchase the corresponding goods. Receipts for all expenses will be sent to the volunteer's email.

If you want to personally hand over the necessary things, you need to go to the second section and choose a request that suits you geographically. Then you should collect all the goods and send them to the specified address (which will be notified by the “eDopomoga” call center after you confirm your intention to fulfill the need). In order to close the request, you need to take a photo of the purchases in the hands of the person who requested them and upload it to the platform.

Registration on “eDopomoga” is not only possible for providing support, but also for receiving it. To do this, you need to fill out an application, indicating your location and the goods you need.
