"Ukrzaliznytsia" (Unkrainian railways) together with the UNITED24 platform, founded by President Volodymyr Zelenskyi, launched the charity initiative "Tickets to Victory". Now every Ukrainian can purchase a boarding pass for the Kyiv-Luhansk or Kyiv-Simferopol train. In addition to these cities, Donetsk, Mariupol and recently liberated Kherson are also listed.

Funds from all purchased tickets will go to charity. In particular, last-mile cars will be purchased for them to connect settlements with railway stations, Ukrzaliznytsia reports. But all these tickets be valid. After the deoccupation of the cities, they can be used, although the date and time are set by the carrier. "Ukrzaliznytsia" will inform ticket holders about these details by e-mail.

Regarding the direction "Kyiv - Kherson" - the state carrier informs that the connection between the two cities will be restored very soon. The first passengers to the liberated territories will be transported by the "Train to Victory", the carriages of which are decorated with pictures of people performing feats within the borders of the occupation.
