In times of war, the need to have the most important medicines freely available is extremely acute. When Ukrainians come to a pharmacy, they get lost, not understanding what they need to buy, and what will just take up space unnecessarily. Mandatory Stock

Not only today, but always try to have sterile and elastic bandages, cotton wool, tourniquet, gauze and plasters of various sizes at home. All of these items may be needed to stop bleeding and immobilize injured limbs. It is also worth buying means for disinfecting wounds and stopping bleeding: 3% hydrogen peroxide, iodine, betadine.

In addition, every household should have the following items:

  • warmer;

  • ammonia;
  • tweezers;
  • medical masks;
  • scissors.

A cold always comes at unexpected moments, so it is worth having with you such products as: "Paracetamol", "Ibuprofen", "Nurofen", "Strepsils" and drops for the nasal cavity. To relieve pain

In this case, it is necessary to group with other family members and neighbors and find out who has which medicines, so that in case of need you know where you can ask for help. Today, there is an acute shortage of all kinds of drugs in the territories temporarily occupied by Russian troops, so it is necessary to think about emergencies in advance.

Sometimes the situation is worse for insulin-dependent people. For the period of war, the Ministry of Health made this medicine free. The main requirement for obtaining it is that the pharmacy must sign a contract with the National Health Service. Currently, it is not necessary to take a new prescription from an endocrinologist every time, it is enough to contact a family doctor.
