"yeOzdorovlennia" is a state initiative that helps children from low-income families rest or recuperate in a camp. Parents and guardians receive payments that fully cover the cost of the ticket. The Charity Fund "Direct Inclusion" explains who is eligible for the benefit and how to apply.

The "yeOzdorovlennia" program started last year and has already benefited 2,000 children with tickets to camps or sanatoriums. The Ministry of Social Policy plans to expand the initiative in 2024.

Who is Eligible for the Benefit?

Children from low-income families who receive state assistance can participate in "yeOzdorovlennia." The benefit is available for two categories of minors:

  • Children from large families (listed in the Register of Beneficiaries)
  • Children with disabilities (excluding category A)

Additionally, participants must reside in one of the following regions:

  • Kyiv
  • Kharkiv
  • Dnipropetrovsk
  • Luhansk
  • Donetsk
  • Zaporizhzhia
  • Kherson
  • Mykolaiv
  • Sumy
  • Chernihiv

Payments are made only if the child has not received a free ticket funded by the state or local budget this year.

Submitting an Application and Receiving Funds

Enter your information on the designated website to check your eligibility for benefits. Program participants receive notifications through the "Diia" or "PrivatBank" apps. A social protection worker may also inform you about the service's availability.

Next, open a special account with "PrivatBank." The child's mother, father, or legal guardian receives the funds for the free ticket. The amount equals five living wages for a child aged 7-18. Funds are transferred in non-cash form approximately a month later, in order of priority, and can only be used for their intended purpose.
