After the start of the full-scale aggression of the russian federation, the problems and needs of animal shelters have not disappeared. The "Direct Inclusion" Charitable Foundation has prepared tips on how you can help furry animals in this challenging time.

Contact local institutions

Ask your friends or search the Internet to find out if there are any shelters near your home. Find out what they need regarding food, medicine, hygiene products, etc. You must keep in touch with the heads of the institutions and visit them yourself.

Don't skip the meetings

Social media has become a great platform to help those in need. There is a lot of information on the Internet about which shelters in Ukraine need help. You can even initiate such a charity event yourself. The main thing is to carefully check the volunteers or institutions you will cooperate with to avoid fraudsters.

Support animal rights activists financially

There are many organizations in the country that rescue and protect four-legged friends, including UAnimals, Zoopatrol, URSA, and others. You can make a monetary donation, and volunteers will use the money to buy food or meet other shelter needs.

Help with your deeds

Many institutions lack people to care for animals. Offer your services for at least one day. You can feed, groom, or walk the animals.

Involve your friends and family

It's easier to do good deeds together! Organize an initiative group at work, school, or among your friends to collect the necessary things for animals or take care of them. Teamwork will be much more effective for shelters.

Do not be silent about the problems

In the era of social media, it has become much easier to spread information. Tell your pages about charity events organized by animal rights activists and the needs of institutions for four-legged animals.

Take in a furry friend

If you are ready and able, take a pet into your family. It will thank you for your kind heart with love.
