June 22 - Day of Mourning the victims of the war in Ukraine
22.06.2024
Every year, on June 22, the Ukrainian people mark the Day of Mourning and Remembrance of War Victims. Every family passes on stories of the horrors of that time from generation to generation. According to various sources, 55-85 million people are considered dead, of which about 10 million are Ukrainians.
Children who grew up hearing stories about the brutal war from their grandparents are now forced to walk the same path. To ensure that the kids who are now hiding in basements from missiles, as well as the next generations, can only see war in feature films and never in real life, we must have the patience and courage to fight to the end. Some of us will do it with weapons; others will do it on the volunteer front.
We know the price of freedom, and that's why we cherish dates like today's especially.
Eternal memory to all the victims of the Second World War. Glory to the Heroes who are fighting for our independence right now!
