We often witness funeral processions on the streets of Ukrainian cities and towns. However, not everyone knows how to behave appropriately in such situations. Today, the Charity Fund "Direct Inclusion" will explain how to honorably pay tribute to the defenders of Ukraine who sacrificed their lives for the nation's freedom.

If a loudspeaker is calling to honor the fallen, both drivers and pedestrians should:

  • Stop when a cortege is nearby;
  • Cease conversations and phone calls;
  • Exit buildings and vehicles to form a human corridor;
  • Bow your head to the fallen hero, kneel, cross themselves, and place the hand over the heart.

If the date and location of the farewell ceremony for the hero are known in advance, people can bring a national flag and black ribbons.

We all need to understand the importance of these actions, teach our children the necessity of such behavior, and cultivate mutual respect for one another.

Previously, the Charity Fund "Direct Inclusion" shared information on whether to trust photos and videos from captivity if a soldier is missing. The material is available via the link.
