The Ministry of Veterans Affairs has approved a new profession: "specialist in the support of veterans and demobilized individuals." These specialists will work with former military personnel, their families, and the families of fallen soldiers. They may also provide initial psychological support and collaborate with local authorities to involve veterans in community development.

To qualify for this profession, candidates must have a higher education (bachelor's or master's degree) in one of the following fields:
