"Never Again": Ukraine Marks Victory Day in the Second World War
08.05.2024
The Second World War has taken at least 50 million human lives. The Ukrainian nation made significant efforts to achieve victory over the anti-Hitler coalition. That is why every year on May 8, we honor the feat of our ancestors and pay tribute to all those who fought against Nazism during the Second World War. The symbol of this day is the red poppy flower, which embodies the blood of freedom fighters and the memory of war victims.
"Never again," we say, but today, these words have taken on a completely different meaning. After decades, the war has returned to Ukraine. Darkness has taken on another form, another face. Now, the world is fighting a new bloodthirsty dictator, and genocide is happening on our land again.
Just like almost 80 years ago, the fate of freedom is being decided on the battlefield. Therefore, our beacon will be unwavering faith in our army, support for the Defense Forces, and unity! The entire civilized world supports Ukraine. We won then, and we will win now!
The Charity Fund "Direct Inclusion" honors the memory of the victims of the Second World War and expresses support for Ukrainian fighters for independence today and their families.
Glory to Ukraine!
