06.10.2023
Getting a job is crucial to integrating into the unknown environment for internally displaced Ukrainians. According to Iryna Vereshchuk, the Minister for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories, every second IDP is unemployed. The Charity Fund “Direct Inclusion” will dwell upon the institution where IDPs can find a job.
Initial steps
The first step is to consult local employment centers. There, one can find information on the labor market situation and how to get a qualification for a new job. Moreover, the institution`s specialists will help you during all the stages of employment.
The councils of IDPs and the Coordination Centers for the Support of Civilians will also assist. They aim to help people from temporarily occupied territories integrate into a new place.
You can also analyze the labor market independently with the Jobportal website, where over 200 thousand vacancies from all over the country are available. We also advise to monitor not only government sites.
Those IDPs who dream of starting their own business can use the governmental program Yerobota. This initiative provides grants for entrepreneurs and beginners. To check the terms, click here.
