Drones, unmanned aerial vehicles are very helpful in the work of the Ukrainian military. They are their "eyes", helping to save the most valuable thing - human lives. Not long ago, the Ministry of Digital Transformation, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the State Service of Special Communications and the United 24 initiative launched an important project called "Drone Army".

The first stage of the initiative is to purchase 200 spy drones that can fly up to 60-100 km, as well as 4 sets of kamikaze drones. However, the Ukrainian army needs thousands of such UAVs to speed up the victory.

"The drone army" is a project funded not only by public funds and the finances of commercial structures, but also by donations from Ukrainians and states that condemn the terrorist actions of the aggressor. During the first week of the initiative it was possible to raise more than 400 million hryvnias.

Drone pilot training has already begun at the "Dronarium" school, as Minister of Digital Transformation Mikhail Fedorov noted. The military will be able to acquire camouflage skills, perform real flight tasks, and improve tactical development.

The training is conducted on civilian DJI and Autel drones, models Air 2, Mavic 2, Mavic 3, EVO Dual, EVO Lite+, EVO Nano+. The course is aimed at military personnel who are going into the military after training.

"The drone army" is a valuable project, as the cost of the cheapest civilian drone is 1500 hryvnias, and such as the Turkish "Bayraktar" is 5-6 million dollars.
