Beneficiary's Story

Stepiv Children's Orphanage, situated in the Mykolaiv region, has suffered significant damage after the enemy attack. In the spring, a missile detonated on the institution's premises, causing extensive destruction to almost all of its buildings. Shattered windows and damaged roofs mark the aftermath of this attack, as well as the destruction of vital infrastructure, including the heating line and gas network. The institution's administration is reaching out to compassionate and generous individuals, urging for charitable assistance to address the repercussions inflicted by the aggression from the Russian forces.

The urgent repair work necessitates a range of construction materials, and the institution is currently in need of the following:

  • Girders 6m – 170 pcs
  • Girders 5m - 66 pcs
  • Rafters 5m - 54 pcs
  • Rafters 6m - 30 pcs
  • Planks 150*50 – 230 pcs
  • Plasterboard - 100 pieces (300m2)
  • Lining - 51 m2
  • False ceiling (Armstrong ceiling) - 250 m2
  • Water-emulsion paint for exterior works - 460 kg
  • Acrylic paint (white) - 10 kg
  • Roughcast (start and finish)
  • Cement

The administration of the Stepiv orphanage has already received construction materials to rebuild the destroyed building. With the participation of local authorities, concerned residents, the Charitable Foundation "Direct Inclusion," and other benefactors, the restoration of the institution is gradually progressing. The management of the institution, together with its staff, is making significant efforts to restore the damaged property.
