We receive numerous requests every day, from both parents and state and communal institutions seeking assistance in supporting their orphans. Unfortunately, due to limited funds, we are not always able to respond and help promptly, leading to difficulties. Nonetheless, we are dedicated to our work, reviewing dozens of letters every day, hoping to provide the necessary support.

We’ve got another letter from a mother whose child needs our help.

“Good day! I’m sorry to bother you.

My name is Olena. We have been looking for help for a long time. I am the mother of many children; I have three children, the eldest son goes to the 1st grade, the younger one is in kindergarten, and our daughter is almost four months old. Unfortunately, the daughter was diagnosed with epileptic seizures. A lot of tests have already been done, and the treatment is expensive; we have already spent all the funds, but the last examinations showed us that the condition has worsened, and we need to do a genetic analysis, which is very expensive. We are desperate. The husband is disabled because he had a skull trepanation. There is no job in our district center. Soon, the eldest son will need to have an operation on his hand, because there is a splinter due to a fracture that happened 5 months ago. We were told to go with our daughter for this expensive analysis, which costs 50 thousand UAH, and we are in a panic because we do not know where to get the money. Because of health problems, the doctor has prescribed lactose-free infant formula for the child. We have already purchased baby nutrition, which will soon go to the family (later we will provide a photo report), but there are still needs that we can overcome only thanks to caring people.
