The communal institution "Voznesenska special school" of the Mykolaiv regional council asked the Foundation to support their pupils in this difficult time of military aggression of the Russian Federation. During the Christmas and New Year holidays every child needs a special piece of warmth, joy and positive emotions. And for children with special educational needs, children with disabilities, orphans, such support and attention is simply vital. Today, the communal institution accepts children from de-occupied territories who need systematic correction, rehabilitation and assistance. Therefore, there is an urgent need to acquire means of correction and educational materials.

244 children with special educational needs study in the special school, including 22 orphans and children deprived of parental care, 70 children with disabilities, 56 children from families in difficult life circumstances, 45 children from low-income families. As of January 2023, 110 children are permanently in school, 24 hours a day. It is these children who need the most support.
